CRYPTO BARONS



The blockchain technology has shown great potential in lots of fields from
Finance to Supply Chain but it has also received significant interest in the
game development community after the first popular game to run on
Ethereum blockchain ‘Cryptokitties’ launched in 2017 and congested the
Ethereum network because of the high transaction volume. Cryptokitties
has proven to be a great success to certain extent because it showed how
easy acquisition, transfer and traceability of game assets (collectibles) can be
with the blockchain. It proved that Blockchain games based on the
collection, trading and ownership of virtual objects are commercially viable
and are able to attain significant popularity. Since then, several other
collectible games have been released; most of them lack what I’ll refer to as
digital interactive entertainment.
Apart from marketplace functionality, these games have not been able to
come close to sophisticated video gameplay which require PVP (Player
versus Player) interaction as seen in video games played on PC and other
game consoles. To some degree, this could be a result of the scalability issues
faced by the Ethereum network based on a limited number of transactions
that can be confirmed by a block within a time period. It can also be that
saving game data on the Ethereum blockchain is quite expensive as the
game gains more popularity, which limits the amount of save transactions
one can make on the network.


In order to create a game which can easily scale on the Ethereum Network,
whilst handling the high graphics image processing and transactions of a
traditional game, we integrated ThunderNet for decentralized storage while
designing CryptoBarons. 

Simple games are good but they have only proven
the concept of gaming on a decentralized network. Creating PVP games like
CryptoBarons with much more processing and storage need on a blockchain
will actually showcase the true potential of a decentralized application.


We believe that CryptoBarons will lead the future of gaming on the
Blockchain. Just as games developed rapidly and progressively from Tetris, to
8-bit, 16-bit and now high end graphics games, CryptoBarons is the game
changer and the beginning of a new dawn for gaming on the Blockchain.
This paper describes the rationale behind the design for the game and
reasons behind the methods we chose in our design.


Crypto Barons is a simulation game dated back to the medieval period and built on the Ethereum Blockchain by the Ugarsoft Blockchain Division..

The Coin is an ERC20 token which was made a generally acceptable currency by the first group of Barons to emerge.

This is the era of Barons as predicted by Sir Edmond Halbert and a number of Barons are already making their way to Albigon. The aim of every baron is to gather enough collectibles (land, wood, food, workers, and land soldiers), take charge of the exchange market and grow very powerful; to enable them to withstand times of famine, disasters and wars very soon.

The main advantage of CRYPTOBARONS platform are the following : 

• Convenient decentralized exchange based on blockchain technologies with a guaranteed copy of the data for each user

• Functional, maximally simple and profitable transactions

• Minimum costs in comparison with other methods of payment for services - minimal or no commission at all within the system

Baron token (BRN) is a Utility Token, which is mainly used to purchase ingame assets. The token metrics and distribution of BRN is shown in the table below, a capped total of 250,000,000 BRN tokens only will be created and distributed which will power the operations within CryptoBarons game.

Market Presale 40% of P.S Tokens to be sold for a discount during the market presales.

Market Purchases 60% of P.S Tokens to be sold after the game launch. Users buy assets which they can also resell at a later time.

Reserve for Future Use and Staff 22% Token to be reserve for future development, staff or any unforeseen incident. This is normally locked in the contract for 1 year and released in proportion of 25% yearly after.

Advisors and Initial Investors & Strategic Partners 20% Token for advisory team, Private investors and strategic partnerships. This is normally locked in the contract for 1 year and released in proportion of 25% yearly after.

Founding Team 15% Token for founding team members. This is normally locked in the contract for 1 year and released in proportion of 25% yearly after.
